Good morning everyone! I hope you and your children are all off to a great year so far! Our first PTS meeting for the year is scheduled for this coming Tuesday, 09/14/10, at 6:30 p.m. in the Middle School conference room! I am excited to meet all the new parents of our 4th graders and welcome you all to the Middle School PTS:)
We are looking forward to another great year! We are jumping right in this year with at least 2 funding requests received already that we need to vote on.
We are going to be making popcorn at the Richford Potato Festival on 09/18/2010, and will need a few more volunteers for that (even if you can volunteer an hour that would be wonderful as this will be our first fundraising effort for the year! Tell all your friends to come to the festival and buy our popcorn - LOL!)
We also have parent information night on 09/22/10, and will need volunteers to come in and help with memberships and also some bakers so we can provide a little something to those who attend!
We'll also have a calendar of all the events PTS has planned for this year and so you will be able to check out upcoming events to see where you might be able to help, and this will be a very informative meeting:)
We are still seeking a new president for the PTS - if you are interested, please come to the meeting - we'd love to have you! Even if you don't want to be president, but would like to be an active member and help we'd love to see you there:) Moms, dads, grandparents - everyone is welcome!!!
