The Newark Valley School District and Lourdes Youth Services' FASTWORKS program is sponsoring a presentation for parents entitled "Adolescent Brain Development - and What Makes Them Act That Way???" on Thursday May 27th in the Newark Valley Middle School Auditorium. The presentation starts at 6:15pm and will include information on brain development during the teenage years, sleep habits of teens, positive parenting strategies, and ways to motivate teens. There will be a time for questions following the presentation.
